Hello everyone from DL&L,
We are doing good, we had a bar-B-que with the other 3 couples, on the 4th. Sister Hawk and I drove up on a hill to watch the Evanston fireworks show. We start a new Trek with the Salt Lake Pioneer Stake in the morning. This group will be starting at Lost Creek gate. This is the far west side of the ranch. We will meet the support people at the Wasatch gate at exit 191 around 8:30. The support will pull the water Buffalo and the port a john's down to the lost creek, about 14 miles. The main Trek will arrive at 10:00 AM and the plan is to Trek 10 miles that first day. On Friday the second day they will Trek another 6 miles, before camping early in the afternoon. I will walk only the cross country parts so only around 8 miles this week. Sister Hawk will walk with them on the woman's pull.
We have a 2003 Ford truck owned by the ranch ,we drove 195 miles last week and used 30 Gal. of gas. Glad I don't have to pay for the fuel. Each couple has a truck to drive. We have two Treks here as I write this, one coming in the morning. Next week we have four Treks so all will be busy.
Sister Hawk and I will be speaking in the Evanston 6th ward on Sunday. I really didn't want to but couldn't refuse.
All is Well with us, are health is very good are we are loving our mission, Thanks to Bishop Hill for asking us.
Anyone who is thinking about a mission DO IT.
